Justin knows his stuff. He worked with me remotely for 3 months to rehabilitate my knee after an injury that had me off the bike for almost 2 years. Here's how it works...

The Build a Better You program was designed for busy professionals who are time-poor but want to improve their health and fitness so that they can keep up with their children, family and friends.

Upon signing up for the program, you receive an invitation to meet and have a chat with me online to discuss your exercise and nutrition goals. After this, you will receive an email inviting you to download the training app and sign in to our coaching platform while I work on your program and eating guide.

All your workouts and nutrition guidelines are delivered to you via the training app. All exercises come with an accompanying video so that you can be sure that you are performing the exercises correctly. Your app also contains your easy-to-follow eating guide so that you can refer to it when you need to.

Accountability check-ins take place at the start of each week so you'll never fall behind or go a week without making progress.

Additionally, you also have a 30-minute coaching call every week with your coach, Justin, to answer any specific questions you may have and address any progressions or issues that you may have.

This program is designed to give you the flexibility to build a strong foundation of health and fitness into your current busy lifestyle as quickly or as slowly as you like, with the highest level of support at an affordable weekly rate.

Justin has been invaluable in helping me know ho to train for climbing and setting a training program from which I can really see progress. I've also never known how to plan my diet to get all my nutritional needs and retain energy or keep motivated while losing weight. However, with his straight forward approach and easy to follow guide, I have found it easy. Happy to say I've lost my COVID kilos and some more. Meet your coach...

Hi, I'm Justin Foo

By now, you're probably wondering who I am, how I became a coach and whether I'm the right coach for you.

So let me tell you a bit about myself!

I am a 43 year old fitness professional with a deep passion for coaching and rock climbing.

My early working years were spent in the advertising industry in Malaysia and then the animation industry here in Melbourne, Australia. Having led a very active childhood, it was a rude shock to the system when I struggled to make time to train and I very quickly settled into a sedentary life that lasted for several years. It was not until 2007 when I joined a few friends at a rock climbing gym that I realised just how weak and unfit I had become. It was then I started to educate myself more about getting back into exercising and developing minimal training programs that would fit into my busy work schedule.

I started seeing results really quickly and I started to enjoy rocking climbing more and more as my strength and fitness increased. I was amazed at how a very minimal but very targeted approach to training had helped me regain my early health and fitness and so I kept doing this to keep improving my strength, fitness and climbing.

It wasn't long after, that I decided to pursue a new career as a personal trainer at age 30. I said goodbye to the animation industry and started working as a trainer at Fitness First. I have since continued to further educate myself on all things fitness and also added rehab coaching to my repertoire. This has allowed me to better understand the common maladies that plague my clients in the corporate workplace like shoulder, lower back and knee pains. In 2020, I have also added nutrition coaching to my services.

It has been more than 10 years now and I have been using my knowledge as a coach and rehab specialist to help countless busy professionals achieve their health and fitness goals. I especially love being able to design programs that fit into their schedules without them feeling too overwhelmed. This is what I believe a journey to health and fitness should be.

A lifelong health and fitness journey should be enjoyable and sustainable. Not the vomit-inducing, all or nothing approach often touted by social media these days. I'm very happy to have been able to help so many of my clients to achieve this and I'd love to be able to help you too!
